For those of you lucky enough to attend this year’s FIFA World Cup in Brazil will be happy to hear that a last batch of 200 000 tickets have been made available for purchase.
FIFA has announced that as of today, 200 000 are available for purchase online. This is the very last phase of online tickets that will be made available to the public.
This that are interested better hurry though, as the tickets are selling on a first come first serve basis. So if you would like to squeeze in another game when your in Brazil, you better get clicking straight away.
The 200 000 tickets available are for 54 out of the 64 games. However, if you were hoping to score a golden ticket (aka a ticket to the final) you will unfortunately not be able to.
The final, along with the tournament opening game, Brazil vs Croatia, has been sold out for months already. A sling of other games are also sold out.
In total, more than 2.5 million World Cup tickets have found lucky owners. While some of them were won through competitions and some of FIFA’s various hospitality programs, the organizations estimates that close to 1.5 million tickets has been sold to the general public.
The World Cup is drawing nearer and nearer, and we are getting really excited. If we were lucky enough to travel to Brazil, we would surely have been on fifa.com today.
